PRIMOthane is a premium urethane squeegee material and it delivers outstanding performance in flexibility, tear and abrasion resistance. When it comes to oils and chemicals, PRIMOthane keeps its shape where most rubber will warp and fail.
In demanding conditions, PRIMOthane® quickly pays for itself by delivering consistent cleaning results. It’s unique polyurethane technology resists wear and retains a sharp edge longer, reducing the need for frequent adjustments and replacements—improving your productivity.
Not all 60 Duro urethane’s are the same. Midwest Rubber specially formulates their PRIMOthane for the floor care industry and tests the squeegees in their own research and development facility. As a result, Midwest Rubber can control and continually improve the development and manufacturing process.
Other companies that die cut or laser cut their squeegees do not formulate their own urethane. They buy urethane it from another manufacturer that doesn’t make urethane specifically for floor care. This is an inexpensive way to produce urethane squeegees, but their performance in floor care is marginal and inconsistent.

Many companies offer polyurethane squeegees for oil and chemical pickup, typically they are hard and cannot effectively pickup the cleaning solution. PRIMOthane not only resists oils and chemicals, but it has the flexibility to pick up the cleaning solution, across a wide variety of floor types, while leaving a clean, dry floor.

POLYURETHANE ANTI-MICROBIAL TEST REPORT
In low temperatures, normal polyurethane material will will lose its flexibility and resilience, resulting poor performance. Briefly exposed to cold temperatures, normal polyurethane can recover once in room temperature. However, if exposed to cold for an extended period of time, normal polyurethane will not recover.
PRIMOthane has very good low temperature performance. Even in below zero temperatures for long periods of time, PRIMOthane maintains flexibility and resilience. This means floor scrubbing machines with PRIMOthane will have excellent working performance even in cold environments.
